Northern Michigan’s largest waterfront resort community, located in the heart of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, a unit of the National Park Service. In the winter it is a full-service ski resort with downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating.

Indianhead Mountain is known for the quantity and quality of its snow and skiable terrain. Their runs are some of the widest and longest slopes in the Midwest. Located in the Western Upper Peninsula, Indianhead is famous for more than 200 inches of annual snowfall, from one of the world’s largest snowmakers, Lake Superior.
