FROM Swedetown Trails >> Skiing on May 1st? Our head groomer is making it a reality! Come and enjoy May Day Skiing at Swedetown!
Groomer report from Nordic Pulse:
Hello again all! Still grooming! Tonight I just dragged the skate deck and added in Mama Bear and the rest of Greenstone to the trails groomed the last few nights; Freshly groomed are Tiger, Valley, Cedar, Birch, Ed's, Greenstone, and Mama Bear. As usual; Expect late season Spring conditions and keep a look out for bare and thin spots. The start of Valley and start of Mama Bear both look MUCH worse than the rest of the trails - if you walk past the bare spots, the rest of the trail is in great shape. Intact but not freshly set tracks are on Valley, Ed's, Cedar, and a section of Greenstone up to Powderhouse. Enjoy your ski everyone! #swedetown #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichiganSkiing on May 1st? Our head groomer is making it a reality! Come and enjoy May Day Skiing at Swedetown!

FROM Swedetown Trails >> Skiing on Thursday April 30th at Swedetown!
From our groomer report on Nordic Pulse:
Good evening! I just went out again and groomed the skate deck on Tiger, Valley, Eds, Cedar, Birch, and the south leg of Greenstone. I was able to get a fresh track set on Cedar, Valley, and up to Powderhouse on Greenstone but started having some issues with the tracksetter again after that. Yesterday's trackset is still intact on Eds. Same as yesterday's report: expect bare spots on the trails and ski with caution. Birch, especially; there is a bare spot on the big windy downhill. Look for a short 10 foot classic track in the center of the trail at the top of the hill to warn you it is coming. We are hoping to be able to continue to groom up to May 1st! Enjoy your ski everyone! #swedetown #SkiMichigan

Ski Michigan

FROM Swedetown Trails >> Wednesday ski anyone? On April 29!? We might be one of the last trail systems still grooming in the US.
Notes from our head groomer: Good evening all! The snow is melting fast here on the trails, but we still have some for you to ski on! I took a snowmobile out this evening to groom Valley, Tiger, Cedar, Birch, and Ed's. Due to equipment issues I was only able to set fresh classic tracks on Valley and Ed's, but the others have had the skate lanes dragged. Ed's loop and Valley will likely retain a good base for the longest time this season, as usual. Please use caution on Birch, there are a couple bare spots, one on the long twisting downhill after Birch hill. Enjoy your ski everyone! #swedetown #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichiganWednesday ski anyone? On April 29!? We might be one of the last trail systems still grooming in the US.

FROM Mount Bohemia >> Sadly the season ended Sunday . Bohemia skied from Dec 6 thru April 26 a great five month season .. We thought we would make May 10th with a huge base heading into April but the ground never froze . That is the one downside of big early snow , the ground was insulated and once it warmed up the melting was way faster than normal . Thanks to all the employees , ski patrol and passholders who made it up this year . Remember your season pass is good all year long @nordicspamountbohemia

Ski Michigan

FROM Swedetown Trails >> Our groomer was out again Saturday night, 4/25/2026 grooming up the ski trails. Groomer report:
Sunday skiers! This evening I took out the Husky and reset tracks and the skate lane on Pine Ridge, Valley, Tiger, Greenstone, Powderhouse, Ed's, Cedar, Birch and Tamarack. Spring conditions exist throughout all of the trails. There are bare spots forming and you will need to ski on grass or take off your skis.
With the low of 38F tonight I am not sure the track will set up overnight but am hopeful that by tilling in some cold snow, it will help, and there will be good skiing early in the morning. Enjoy! #swedetown #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichiganOur groomer was out again Saturday night, 4/25/2026 grooming up the ski trails. Groomer report:
