Crystal Mountain ~ World Snow Day Celebration ~ January 19, 2025

In celebration of World Snow Day, Crystal Mountain is offering a variety of activities geared to introduce "first timers" to the great world of snow.

12pm - 4pm: View a Snow Gun and Groomer up close! Located on the slopes behind the Crystal Center.

Crystal Mountain – Airsoft Biathlon – February 9, 2025
[ February 9, 2025 to February 10, 2025. ]
Join us as we combine airsoft and cross-country skiing into our Airsoft Biathlon! The ski trail will be a one-mile long loop with two target stations. Must be 8 years or older to participate.
Cost: $25 per person. Includes cross-country ski equipment rental and airsoft equipment.
Time: Start times will be staggered and available between 1-3pm in groups of [...]

[ March 15, 2025; ] Saturday, March 14th, is our annual SPRING CARNIVAL. We’ll have music on the slopes, the Snow Bar & Grill will be open, a Rail Jam, Costume Parade and everyone’s favorite: the Big Air Contest! Come out and be a part of the best day of the year and don’t forget your costume.

Definitely mid winter conditions. Nordic Pulse on the website is working again, please check for the latest grooming. Open 9 to 5 today. Be safe.

Conditions are shaping up nicely for a great day on the trails.

The new snow should groom up really well and make for some great skiing this week. We did receive some ice before the storm which created some leaning trees that will need to be removed and will slow down the grooming. The plan is to do the east side trails and pines loop. Time permitting we will also do the west side. It will take some time to get the grooming completed. FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/30, John cleared trees from 3 pm to 10:30 pm. John described G Trail as Apocalyptic. Trees everywhere from ice, snow and winds. Magnus is getting a work out. Using the bucket to dig out downed trees so John could cut them up. John's chain saw said enough and died. John is back out there and will have D Y W and down Heaven skiable by 9:30 am. 9:30 am Snow removal crew will begin. Any joiners? Lodge will be open by 10 am.
FROM Vasa Trail Ski Conditions >> At 11:30, groomers were laying corduroy and classic tracks in Timber Ridge. They’d tracked Riley’s to Supply Rd, they’re working clockwise back to Bartlett. At 11:30, they hadn’t yet tracked wall/rock/ jack pine areas

Opening for the first time this season will be Middle Earth, Outer limits , Far East, Haunted Valley and Outback sections .This will give Bohemia over 450 acres of open skiable terrain . Lake effect is expected off and on all week . As always ski with caution and expect the unexpected.. #mountbohemia #SkiMichiganGreat news !!!
