At The Homestead, we strive to provide something for everyone. But we also recognize that sometimes what you need is a little time just for you. SPRING FLING – Saturday, March 24, 2012
The lifts won’t be running next Saturday, March 24, but we will still celebrate Spring! We are planning to use the snow we have left to hold as many of our 14th Annual Spring Fling events as possible. Stay tuned for a schedule of activities for next Saturday.
UPDATE – 3/23 – Spring Fling Update: We started piling up the remaining snow from all of our slopes on Cheers today in an effort to build a run for our Cardboard Classic and Kayak races, but there just isn’t enough of the white stuff left out there. The rain last night and today, combined with our warm temps, have won out. We are forced to cancel tomorrow’s Cardboard Classic and Kayak races.
But Spring Fling will go on – we are holding a Cardboard Classic Show and Kayak Battleship Game! Bring out your cardboard creations for a classic car style show at 11am. Then at 2pm we’ll let the bombs fly in a life-size Kayak Battleship Game! And our Beach Party, Pig Roast, and Luau Party will kick off the season in style. We hope you can join us! Celebrate some fun traditions—come March that’s what Crystal Mountain is all about! It’s also a time for crazy downhill competition at our 14th Annual Spring Fling!
New this year, we’ve added a slopeside Beach Party with bonfire, beach ball volleyball and more.
Sorry…Slush Cup has been cancelled!
