Great news, we’re happy to rent you our snowshoes. The part we like the most, is that we are so close. We can point you in the right direction to an amazing collection of snow covered perfection! And if you should run in to “Park Ranger Jim”, tell him that his old friend Carol, “has a crush on him”!

Snows storms last week and lake effect snow this weekend freshened up ski slopes and hills of Northern Michigan with up to 6 inches of soft powder on Saturday and Sunday. Click on the photos below for a slide show of some of the great skiing this weekend….
Big Powderhorn Mountain ski hill is 100% Open! All Operations Moved to the Caribou Lodge
A fire destroyed the Historic Main Lodge building, However, All Lifts will be running at 9:00am Friday Morning as usual. Signs will be posted redirecting some traffic. Tickets, Rental, Snow Sports School, and Lodging all moved to the Caribou Lodge.
